Often certain words, songs, quotes, or sentiments seem to jump out at me and stick in my heart and head. I’ve learned to pay attention to those recurring words in my life; they usually point to something deeper going on in me, or something profound or necessary that God is reminding me of. Over the last few days a few words keep jumping out at me – so I am trying to pay attention - and let them soak in a little, maybe see what they could mean in my life right now.   Â
“My business is not to remake myself, but make the absolute best of what God made.” – Robert Browning Â
“Gratitude is the heart’s memory.” – French proverb
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. it turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.” – Melody BeattieÂ
“I want to leave a legacy – how will they remember me? Did I choose to love, did I point to You? I’d love to leave my mark on things, I want to leave an offering: a child of mercy and grace who blessed Your name unapologetically – to leave that kind of legacy.” – Nichole Nordeman
“The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new.” –RajneeshÂ
